Buses
Lincolnshire has a strong network of bus services providing an alternative form of public transport across the county. Conveniently placed bus stops mean that travelling by bus can be the most convenient, efficient and environmentally friendly way to travel. Get to your destination stress free and without the worry of having to find a car parking space - just enjoy your day.
In Lincolnshire we use different names to describe the bus services.
InterConnect Services are public bus services which operate frequently to link the main towns in the County. The buses are all low floor design, making them easier to board, especially if you have heavy bags or a push chair.
CallConnect is a public bus service which comes to you when you call and it takes you to the nearest town. CallConnect can be used to link up with the main InterConnect routes, so that you can travel further afield. Anyone can use CallConnect for a range of day to day activities such as shopping, medical or social events.
IntoTown Services are buses that work on a circular or loop system and run regularly throughout the day. Towns such as Gainsborough, Sleaford, Boston and Spalding have these services. They are designed to give you easy access to key facilities such as shops and doctor surgeries at regular and frequent times.
