Workplace Service
We provide 3 levels of support to workplace:
- Provided there are enough numbers to have a group (10 +) we will go into the workplace to give full support to the staff wanting to quit smoking. The group will have 6 sessions and will involve motivational and behavioral support as well as advice on the pharmaceutical support available on an individual basis.
- If there are not enough numbers to form a group, we will take referrals so that individuals can be seen in the community by one of our advisors.
- If the company is not interested in being involved with the setting up of a group, we can provide information for them to display so that staff have our details to contact us should they wish.
We have developed a workplace pack, which includes all the information required for companies wishing to use the service.
The pack contains a CD with copies of all the letters, posters and forms, for the company to print off as many as required in order to generate awareness of the service within their company. There is also a hard copy of each for photocopying
The pack is sent out prior to the group starting with handy tips on how to get started. It is a valuable tool for the company to keep all the relevant contacts.
The company does not hold the records of the people we see, as the service is confidential and would not be shared with anyone without prior permission.
