Lincolnshire Smokefree Homes

Protect your family from tobacco smoke

  • If you smoke when your children are around, they can inhale the equivalent of 150 cigarettes a year!
  • Could your child be one of the 50 children that are admitted to hospital every day in the UK because of tobacco smoke in your home?

These are just two of the messages being presented by ‘Smoke Free Homes.’

The aim of the project is to increase the awareness of the impact of passive smoking on children’s health and to encourage people in the county to have smoking restrictions in their home.  The value of placing smoking restrictions in the home environment cannot be underestimated. Whilst ‘Smoke Free Homes’ would ultimately wish for everyone to make their home a smoke free zone, any change such as smoking in one room and not in front of the children would benefit the family’s health immediately.

Anyone interested in signing up for the Lincolnshire Smoke Free Homes Pledge or would like more details should contact Liz Clarke at Lincolnshire Smoke Free Homes on 01522 550542.
