On 1st July 2007 Smokefree legislation was introduced across England; thanks to the hard work of members of the Smokefree Lincs Alliance the implementation was a success across the whole county.  Now, several years on; compliance with the law is still high but our business community may well have changed so in response we have developed a workplace toolkit.

This has been designed to support new and existing, small to medium businesses to ensure that they both understand and continue to comply with smokefree legislation.

The toolkit includes information on current legislation, correct signage, penalties incurred, illicit products and partners who can support your business such as Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue and the Phoenix Stop Smoking Service.  Businesses who receive a toolkit will also be sent any necessary updates for the pack as legislation and/or information changes.  

We hope with the support of the toolkit, businesses feel confident that they are up to date with current legislation and are able to provide support to their employees with smokefree issues.
