Onlincolnshire

Onlincolnshire

Digital technology is playing an ever more important role both in business and within our homes.  Since the introduction of broadband and the rapid growth of the internet, the demand to access more and more services electronically is ever increasing.

Onlincolnshire aims to provide residents and businesses of Lincolnshire with useful information regarding the state of the digital landscape across the County.

We will be actively encouraging communities, businesses and broadband suppliers to engage with us to try and address some of the ongoing broadband connectivity issues a rural County like Lincolnshire continues to face.

We are currently working on a number of initiatives to ensure Lincolnshire is considered a well connected County, in particular looking at;

  • Broadband accessibility, including trying to address some of the ‘Not Spot/Slow Spot’ issues
  • How Lincolnshire will be affected by the plans for Next Generation Access (NGA) broadband
  • The development of a knowledge base and resource on a wide range of digital related topics

To find out more about these exciting initiatives, please click on the external weblink.
