Parenting Contracts

Parenting contracts are voluntary written agreements made between local agencies, for example the local authority, youth offending team, local education authority, and the individual parents.

They can be used alongside acceptable behaviour contracts, and are available in cases of exclusion from school and truancy, or in cases where a child is engaged, or is likely to engage, in criminal or anti-social behaviour.
