The main procurement processes undertaken by partner authorities are verbal quotations, written quotations and request for quotations. Formal tenders and tenders let in accordance with the EU Public Procurement directives will generally be undertaken by Procurement Lincolnshire; however, some exceptions may apply. 

Depending on the level of spend, the process can be as simple as a local authority officer reviewing a catalogue or asking for a verbal quotation(s) over the telephone. For these lower value contracts it is unlikely that these opportunities will be advertised.
