Procurement
Helping small businesses win a share of £750m a year
Procurement Lincolnshire is hosting a series of free workshops offering top tips on winning public sector contracts.
The events show local businesses how to successfully bid for contracts worth up to £75,000, and are taking place across the county throughout April and May.
Councillor Kelly Smith, Executive Member for Finance and HR at Lincolnshire County Council, said:
“There’s a perception that dealing with the public sector inevitably means endless red-tape. These events help dispel that myth by showing just how easy it is to bid for some of our contracts. The workshops will give you all the skills and knowledge you need to make a successful bid, taking you through it step-by-step. With the public sector in Lincolnshire spending around £750m a year, this is an opportunity your business can’t afford to miss.”
Each session runs from 9.15am to 12.30pm. To book your place, please contact Charlotte Robson at the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce on 01522 846923 or at charlotte.robson@lincs-chamber.co.uk.
