Bottesford

Bottesford, whose population is approaching 3000, lies on the River Devon some 16 miles to the north of Melton Mowbray, in the Vale of Belvoir - the A52 by-passing the village.

The market place has both its cross and the stocks still preserved, while the Parish Church of St Mary’s - with the highest spire in Leicestershire (at 212 feet tall) - has many interesting monuments.
