Route of the Year Competition

We are pleased to announce the launch of the 2012 Max Respect School or Route of The Year Award.

Drivers now have the opportunity to nominate a particular school or contract route for an award using criteria such as:

  • Children being polite.
  • Children travelling sensibly.
  • The helpfulness of the school when incidents occur.
  • The involvement of the school in ensuring children are ready for transport.

The winning school or contract will receive an accolade for their achievements and a representative will be invited to an award ceremony in March 2012 in the Council Chamber at Lincolnshire County Council, along with the nominating driver.

This event is being held in conjunction with the award ceremony for the Max Respect Art and Design Competition. This competition encourages entries from schools to promote Max Respect and is used to promote the importance of:

  • Safety on home to school transport.
  • Safety at bus stops.
  • Safety whilst boarding and alighting transport.
  • Respect for the driver and other passengers.

Please find nominating forms in the downloads tab above, these should be returned by post or email to the address no later than 31 January 2012.
