General Conditions of Contract
In order to be considered for inclusion on the Approved Operators List you must complete and submit the relevant documentation from the following link. You will also find a downloadable version of the Conditions of Contract.
For ALL contracts, drivers and passenger assistants will be required to undertake an Enhanced Check through the CRB to identify any criminal convictions. Such staff must be approved by, and receive an identity badge from the Transportation Group:
- Green Badges Drivers of Hackney Carriages and Private Hire Vehicles
- Purple Badges Passenger Assistants
- Orange Badges Drivers of PCV Vehicles
- Red Badges Volunteer Scheme Drivers
- Yellow Badges Drivers who are driving vehicles of less than 9 seats under a PCV operator licence.
Drivers will also have to provide details of all driving convictions, and if they are using their own vehicle, copies of their Motor and Public Liability Insurances.
