Laboratory Services
Lincs Laboratory offers a wide range of testing services to the Civil Engineering industry from performing routine classification and compliance testing to assessment of end product performance on a wide range of civil engineering materials and products.
Range of Tests
Over 100 tests are routinely available, all to the most up-to-date standards. These are mainly British Standard Specifications but also include some in-house procedures. Other tests can also be offered either in-house or via our established network of reputable sub-contractors.

Lincs Laboratory participates in the UKAS accreditation scheme (Testing Laboratory No. 0699). Achieving accreditation provides assurance that the Laboratory has the technical competence to work to the exacting requirements that are specific to materials testing and it is operating a fully documented quality system.

We offer a comprehensive range of aggregate tests which can be undertaken on materials prior to scheme commencement.
Bituminous Material Testing
Lincs Laboratory is widely acknowledged as working at the forefront of UK advancements in bituminous materials technology.
Soil testing
Soils from ground investigations for new works can be tested for classification and to evaluate their chemical, compaction, consolidation, and permeability and shear strength characteristics.
