Established in 1965 as a service unit for the Local Authority, our permanent laboratories, based at Riseholme, Lincoln are UKAS accredited for a wide range of laboratory and site testing services.
All other services are accredited to ISO 9001:2000. Lincs Laboratory also holds accreditation to BS OHSAS 18001 Health & Safety Management Systems which is certified by BSi.
We undertake projects throughout the UK ranging from routine sampling and testing to the evaluation of large highway networks and investigations for new highways and large maintenance schemes. Our clients include Local Authorities, Designers, Materials Suppliers and Contractors.
We have extensive experience in the provision of Highways Condition Surveys and Data Collection. This includes Deflectograph surveys, skid resistance testing and Coarse and Detailed Visual Inspections (CVI/DVI) in accordance with UKPMS requirements.
Our other services include Traffic Data capture using both manual counts and automatic systems and highways inventory data collection.
All work is supported by our team of experienced Consulting Engineers.
