Explore Chambers Farm Wood

At Chambers Farm Wood there are three waymarked trails, all of which start from the public car park.

The White (all ability) trail is approximately one mile long. Fully surfaced, the trail passes Little Scrubbs Meadow and some of the best butterfly habitat in the wood. It provides easy access to the woodland throughout the year.

The Red trail follows the main forest track around the woodland complex for approximately 2.5 miles. It is an easy route which passes Hatton Wood, one of the areas of ancient woodland that are included within the Chambers Farm Wood complex.

The Green trail is not surfaced and follows the woodland boundary around Ivy Wood and Minting Park for about 2.5 miles. Visitors should be prepared for muddy conditions in the winter but the views across the Limewoods landscape are worth it!

A leaflet and map showing the woodland walks is available at the Chambers Farm Wood Centre or from the Forestry Commission (please see Contacts tab.)
