Linked to our promoted routes is the provision of high quality information to engage visitors, increasing public awareness and understanding of the ecological and cultural significance of the Limewoods area.

Interpretation panels have been installed at a number of locations along some of the promoted routes, telling the stories of each unique site.

Interpretation panels have been installed at:

  • St Lawrence’s Church, Bardney
  • Goltho deserted medieval village
  • Buslingthorpe Church
  • Southrey Wood
  • Bardney Abbey
  • Barlings Abbey
  • Tupholme Abbey
