The Limewoods Community Sculpture Project has been successfully completed with the installation of several works of art around the Limewoods area.
The project aimed to forge links between local groups and sites across the Limewoods area. Working with a number of different artists and specialists, each group visited a local site to find out what made it important. Following their visit, the groups suggested ideas for their sculptures which were then developed into the final sculptures by each artist.
Some fantastic pieces of art have been created, reflecting the natural and cultural heritage of each site. The Lincolnshire Limewoods Project wishes to thank Lincolnshire County Council for co-ordinating this project, arts officers from East and West Lindsey District Councils who assisted with the project, all of the groups who have taken part and the landowners who have provided locations for each sculpture.

Other sculptures can be found on the Water Rail Way, a multi-user route which travels along the south-western boundary of the Limewoods area. You can find out more from the Sustrans website or you can download a leaflet about the Water Rail Way artworks.
