Bardney Heritage Trails

Bardney Development Trust has published a leaflet of two heritage trails for the village of Bardney and the surrounding area.

The trails include important heritage features such as Bardney Abbey, historic buildings and local ecology as well as highlighting interesting stories and traditions of the area.

Members of the group were involved in researching content for the trails, writing the trail description and sourcing images for the leaflet. Artwork and photographs for the leaflet were provided by local residents.

The trails include an incredible amount of information, some fascinating tales and old photographs showing how Bardney village used to look. You’ll be guaranteed to learn more about the history of the area! The heritage trail leaflet is available in local libraries and centres or you can download a copy here.
