Lincolnshire Firewood Fair & Auction

The third Lincolnshire Firewood Fair and Auction is to be held on Sunday 18th September, sponsored by the Lincolnshire Limewoods Project at Revesby Estate from 10am - 4pm.

This outstanding free event was started in 2009 to encourage people to buy and use locally produced firewood. Although woodland in Lincolnshire is a limited resource, with the right kind of management it can provide jobs, wildlife habitats and a sustainable source of carbon-neutral fuel. 

The event includes exhibitions and demonstrations of woodland management, firewood production, forestry, woodland crafts as well as an auction of locally-produced firewood, woodchip, wood pellets and wood briquettes. The auction starts at 12 noon.
