Fiskerton History and Archaeology Group rewarded

We are really proud to announce that “Yellowbelly Youth, a Fiskerton Boyhood by Fred Thompson, published by the  History & Archaeology Group last year as part of the Limewoods Community Heritage Scheme, has just won a prestigious award from the Society of Lincolnshire History & Archaeology.

The award, the SLHA Award for Excellence is a new, occasional, award granted at the Society’s discretion.  There were only two such awards presented so the Fiskerton History & Archaeology Group are very pleased to have their publication of Fred Thompson’s memoir recognised in this way.
