Fiskerton Christmas Tree Spectacular
Join the residents of Fiskerton, on the western boundary of the Limewoods area, for a Christmas Tree Spectacular held at St Clement of Rome Church.
Running across two weekends - Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th and Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th December - the event is open from 11:00am - 4:30pm and will be officially opened by Judy Theobald from BBC Radio Lincolnshire at 11:00am on Saturday 12th December.
The Church will play host to Christmas trees decorated by lcoal groups including the Fiskerton History & Archaeology Group who are using the theme “Fiskerton through the Ages”. Music, homemade fayre and refreshments will also be available.
Fiskerton village is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, which recorded “there is a Church there, and a Priest”. Of the Church that was standing in 1086 parts probably remain and are incorporated into the building that stands in the village.
