The wide range of beautiful habitats, excellent facilities, tracks and trails at Chambers Farm Wood offer an enormous range of outdoor learning opportunities for families and groups. The Forestry Commission supports self-led visits to the site and may be able to offer ranger-led visits subject to staff availability.
The woodland also hosts a custom built ‘Wood Centre’ which can be booked as part of your visit. Comprising a kitchen area, large and small classroom and bird feeder viewing areas this is the perfect base for a half or full day visit. Charges apply.
