Welcome to LFR
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the website of Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue.
This website is designed to provide a facility for both members of the Service and members of the public, and contains useful information about keeping people safe and about Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue has developed over the years into a high-performing fire and rescue service thanks to the efforts and dedication of our staff to deliver the highest possible quality of service to the people of the county. This is reflected in our mission ‘to Make Lincolnshire a safer place to live, work and visit.’
In working to deliver this we have been able to reduce the numbers of incidents we attend, be they fires, road traffic collisions or other emergencies. Additionally, we have been able to help people experiencing medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest through our co-responder scheme – a partnership between the fire service, LIVES and EMAS which allows specially trained fire crews to provide essential, potentially life-saving first aid to those in need.
Whilst our activity is primarily focused on serving Lincolnshire, it also involves crews from our Service responding to incidents in neighbouring counties when needed and providing a national capability to deal with major incidents. Our support to the UK Fire Services’ International Search and Rescue team has enabled firefighters from Lincolnshire to respond to emergencies internationally to give assistance following natural disasters at the request of the UK Government.
I hope you enjoy your visit to our site and find the information you are looking for. If you cannot find what you need, please contact the Service’s communications team at communications@lincoln.fire-uk.org, and they will be happy to help you.

Chief Fire Officer
