Restrictions and Exclusions on Access Land

Landowners may apply for restrictions or closures where necessary, for land management, safety or fire prevention reasons.

Whenever possible, we aim to show any current restrictions in Lincolnshire here under the Downloads tab (see above).  Closures and restrictions will also be shown on the Natural England’s web site, under the Websites tab.

By viewing the website, visitors can check that an area is open before setting out for a walk.

Closures of Access Land do not affect any existing rights of way, so footpaths, bridleways and byways which cross Access Land, can still be used by the public during a period of exclusion or restriction.
