Can I divert a PRoW on my land?

The County Council has discretionary powers to divert public rights of way via the Public Path Order process. Routes can only be diverted ‘on the ground’, and the Definitive Map and Statement amended to reflect the change, once the legal procedure has been completed.

Should you wish Lincolnshire County Council to consider a diversion proposal, or if you need further information on the procedure, please click on the link below, contact the Rights of Way Section at the County Council on 01522 782070 or email us at: countryside_access@lincolnshire.gov.uk
