Opposed Orders (DMMO's)

In the case of opposed definitive map modification orders the County Council must refer the order to the Planning Inspectorate for an inspector’s decision on behalf of the Secretary of State on whether the order should be confirmed. Depending on the nature of the objection the County Council will either support or oppose the orders confirmation or remain neutral.
