March 2010

Rock Challenge - 19th-26th March

Rock Challenge is an international anti-drug and crime prevention initiative that takes the form of a performing arts competition for secondary schools.

June 2010

Higher Education Convention - 15th June
This year's Higher Education Convention will be held at the University of Lincoln on Tuesday 15th June.  Over 100 HE institutions will attend and a series of talks on HE subjects and topical issues concerning HE will be given throughout the day.  Each year around 3500 Year 12 students from all over the county attend the event, which is held in partnership between LCC and the University of Lincoln.  The annual Parents Higher Education information evenings will be held at Lincoln, Boston and Grantham the week before the convention itself, further details to follow on these evenings.
 
Raising Aspirations - 29th June
Children's Services are arranging a Raising Aspirations Event for Year 9 students from across the county.  This event will be held at the University of Lincoln and will feature interactive displays from a wide range of public, private and 3rd sector providers, all aiming to increase the aspirations of young people in Lincolnshire.  Invites will go out to all schools soon but please book this date in your diary now!

Talent Lincolnshire, Epic Centre, Lincolnshire Showground - 10th-11th July

The Children’s celebration 2010 event is fast approaching; the CYPSP will be showcasing with your support the positive services available to all children and young people.

Sevice Improvement conferences take place on a quarterly basis for all agencies who work with children, young people and their families in Lincolnshire.
