Pastoral Support Plan and Resources

The Lincolnshire ladder of Behavioural Intervention (LLBI) is designed to support schools in achieving zero exclusion; the full inclusion of our most vulnerable pupils through early, evidence-based intervention and, if necessary, collaboration between settings.

The Pastoral Support Plan is a key, 16 week step within the LLBI.

It is essentially a solution-focused plan of intervention and reasonable adjustment agreed between pupil, parents and professionals, all of whom make commitments.

Solution-focused training for Pastoral Support Plan mentors

Training for solution focused coaches has been positively evaluated and continues through 2016-17. Delegates benefit not just from the intensive two day course but also an online forum through which they access both peer support and guidance from leading expert in the solution focused field, Dr Geoff James.

Details of the training to schools offered by Lincolnshire County Council is available to download, and there is also an on-line forum to support all PSP mentors which enables peer support following the training.
