This is a universal preventative programme suitable for parents and carers of children aged 5-18. The programme has been designed for use with parents from all communities and has been used successfully with families of black and minority ethnic backgrounds and other marginalised groups.
The programme aims to help families and develop and promote a strong cultural identity, a range of life skills, self esteem, self discipline, social competence and an ability to access community resources.
It has been introduced to Lincolnshire as part of the Parenting Early Intervention Programme. It has been well evaluated by parents.
