Teenage Pregnancy Independent Advisory Group (TPIAG)
The Teenage Pregnancy Independent Advisory Group has monitored the national teenage pregnancy strategy and advised Government over the last ten years.
The Group has now completed a report based on this experience recording successes and setting future challenges.
The report examines whether the Teenage Pregnancy strategy has worked, details positive developments and looks at immediate challenges with regard to public spending cuts, cost effective contraception, improving sex and relationships education and improving sex and relationships education and improving support for young mums and dads.
The report concludes with recommendations for the future and what needs to be done both nationally and locally.
