How are Inspections Conducted?

During Inspection, there will be a varying number of Inspectors present on-site who will arrive over a phased time period. Ofsted utilise the skills and expertise of a team of national Inspectors who are extremely proficient in their field of children services.

The team provide a holistic approach during assessment and through scrutiny of first-hand evidence, based on the practice they observe and what they learn from the people using the service, they are able to deliver a comprehensive final recommendation report. All reports are published on the Ofsted website approximately 25 days after the conclusion of on-site inspection.
