Risk Assessment

Risk assessment is a systematic approach to hazard identification and control.

It should be seen as a process that helps you to identify what elements of an activity can cause injury to people and to introduce control measures that will reduce the risk of injury to an acceptable level.

Risk assessment is a legal requirement, therefore all teams need to carry out risk assessments wherever significant risks exist.
