Boston/ South Holland Positive Activities/ Volunteer Fair
Lincolnshire County Council are organising a series of volunteer fairs in March to promote opportunities for volunteering, setting up new groups, and delivering new positive activities for young people within Youth Centres in Lincolnshire. They are looking for individuals and/or groups/organisations that would be able to support the event(s).
Lincolnshire County Council are looking for: groups or organisations that can offer support to new and emerging groups of people looking to set up in order to manage and deliver activities, groups looking for additional volunteers in order to expand current activities and deliver more for young people, funding organisations who would help and advise groups where they can look for funding, apply for grants.
If you think you are able to support these events in any way it would be fantastic to hear from you. The meeting dates and venues are:
- 3rd March – Springfields Events Centre, Spalding
- 10th March – Black Sluice Cottages, Boston
- 17th March – The Boilerhouse, Grantham
All events are open to the public from 10am-4pm, with set up available from 9am.
Aware that the events are all within a short space of time, and staff and resources are stretched, they are in a position to offer reasonable travel expenses to groups coming to the fairs and taking a stall space. Lunch will also be provided for those attending as stall holders.
