Eligibility and Referrals

To be eligible for support from Families Working Together, families must meet two of the following three criteria:

  1. Households with one or more under 18-year old with a proven offence in the last 12 months AND/OR households with one or more member involved in anti-social behaviour;
  2. Households affected by truancy or exclusion from school where a child has been subject to three or more fixed term exclusions over three consecutive terms OR is in a Pupil Referral Unit or alternative provision because of exclusions OR is not on a school roll AND/OR has had 15% or more unauthorised absence across three consecutive terms;
  3. Households with an adult on an out-of-work benefit.

If you are working with families who meet two or more of the above criteria then you can refer them to the Families Working Together service so that we can discuss the best way of supporting the family.
