Data Protection and Privacy

“Troubled Families” is Lincolnshire’s response to the Government’s “Troubled Families” Programme for families with complex needs.

Lincolnshire County Council will be identifying families with the most pressing and complex needs as part of the programme. This will involve sharing of information between Council departments and with other organisations. Any information sharing will be done proportionately and lawfully for the purpose of

  • identifying those families who meet the Programme’s criteria;
  • monitoring families progress towards outcome targets. This may include sharing data with the Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) or their appointed representatives for evaluation purposes (see Privacy Notice);
  • evidencing achievement of targets defined by the Troubled Families outcomes plan.
