A considerable amount of work is currently being undertaken in responding to unprecedented financial cuts that the public sector face and consequently how the Council and its partners are responding to the economic challenges that lie ahead.
In relation to working together, the Children and Young People’s Partnership (CYPSP) has recently reviewed its terms of reference and constitution and has confirmed its status and will continue to have a leading and co-ordinating role in our overall strategy for Children’s Services.
The partnership in considering very carefully how to safeguard, support and continue to improve our priority services within the resources that are available. In the fundamental reshaping of services it is inevitable that changes to the staffing structure will determine what services that are provided.
