Brilliant Lincolnshire Branding

Every Brilliant Lincolnshire communication is an opportunity to influence how external audiences see the partnership. To help make the most of this opportunity, our communications should convey the Brilliant Lincolnshire values and aims through their visual style and content.

This web section contains guidance about the Brilliant Lincolnshire brand, including logos, colours, typefaces and fonts and the use of images. You will find specific guidance about producing leaflets and brochures, certificates, invitations and posters. For partners there are full sets of logos available for download.

The Brilliant Lincolnshire logo demonstrates a commitment to the single vision of one organisation working for children, young people and families in the county.

For Partners there are templates for word letterheads, posters, leaflets, invitations, certificates, and branded PowerPoint presentations.

There are three ways in which the branding may be applied:

  1. As a primary brand for any material produced and owned by the Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership (CYPSP). This would include the Children and Young    people’s Plan and literature promoting the plan, the DVD/CDs, Take Five, Partnership Briefing Sheets, etc.
  2. As a secondary brand for any material produced by any associated services that are funded to incorporate a nationally recognised brand, for example – Connexions.
  3. As a stamp that partnership membership organisations can choose to add to their materials to signal the fact that they are members of the partnership and are working to further the aims of the partnership service.

Any design work that is required must initially be mentioned to Lead Communications Officer for children who can advise on the best approach for your work and assist in terms of checking content for plain English, grammar etc. Then the design team can be approached to help and advise on either doing the work within the team or sending to an external design agency. Any piece of design work that has the Lincolnshire County Council logo on must be proofed to brand@lincolnshire.gov.uk to check for use of branding before going to print or on the web.
