Gainsborough Children's Centre

As a Multi Use Centre, Gainsborough Children’s Centre aims to improve the services and opportunities on offer to all families living in Gainsborough, and has specialist services on offer to help anyone who cares for children under the age of 5 years.

Why not come and see us for a cup of coffee and to find out more at our new Centre, in the middle of town, right next to the Bus Station? The Drop In is open from 9 am to 4 pm, weekdays, and from 10 am to 2 pm. on Saturdays. We would be very pleased to see you.

Activities
As well as the Drop In, where you can have a coffee and a chat, there are numerous regular groups held in the Centre whose activities include:

• Toy Library sessions
• PEEP group for 0 to 2 year olds
• Buddies Group for mums & expectant mums under 21
• Fresh Start Literacy and Numeracy training
• Family Health Clinic
• Monday morning Chill Out group
• Funky Friday group on Friday mornings 
  
  

 Access to services
Some service providers are able to arrange appointments in the Centre, removing the need to travel. For example you can arrange to meet the Smoking Cessation Service for practical help and support when giving up smoking. Or perhaps you would like a meeting with a Citizens Advice Bureau advisor who can help you with a wide range of problems including Debt, Benefit and Housing issues.
