The map below provides detailed information on the walk route including the location of steps, stiles, gates, slopes and bridges, the type of ground and the location of bus stops and refreshment facilities. These two walks are set in the attractive countryside between Thurlby and Bourne.  Walk one climbs out of the village to a local high point from where there are views across the Fens.  Walk two visits Bourne and the surrounding wooded countryside.

The walks are 3 1/3 or 8 km (2 or 5 miles) and will take approximately 1 or 2½ hours to complete.  Both walks may be uneven and muddy in places.
