Click on the icon and it will tell you what is there, and in the case of bridges, stiles, steps and gates a photograph of the structure will appear. These two walks are set in the attractive countryside between Thurlby and Bourne. Walk one climbs out of the village to a local high point from where there are views across the Fens. Walk two visits Bourne and the surrounding wooded countryside.
The walks are 3 1/3 or 8 km (2 or 5 miles) and will take approximately 1 or 2½ hours to complete. Both walks may be uneven and muddy in places.
Why not take a copy of the activities and I spy sheets with you if you are walking with children. There are questions to answer and things to look out for along the walk
A detailed walk leaflet with directions, map and points of interest is available to download as a PDF below or a paper copy is available from the Countryside Access Team on 01522 782070 or via the online form below.
